  1. I can't tell how this "rocked my world"! I've playing around with V4, but this is beyond the beyond! I'm having fabulous success with all of these! BTW Olivio, what I'm having no success at is trying to import my own, and other images into Midjourney. I follow all the various tutorials, and I can get an image into it, either by drag and drop, or going to the file, but when I right click on it to send it to Discord, so I can get the URL, no dialog comes up… ?!? It would be great if you could do a short video tutorial on this, going through each step… Probably too much to ask…. I'm just sayin' !

  2. These are all great effects, thanks for sharing them with us! I hope MidJourney V4 lets us use other aspect ratios soon – I'm finding it impossible to get what I want while we're only allowed a 1:1 square – most of my V3 images are 2:1, which for me is the perfect size. It will be here, but I hope it will be soon!

  3. Hey @Olivio Sarikas – aspect ratio does indeed work as long as you put other variables after it, so after your prompt, type your standard โ€˜โ€”ar 9:16โ€™ or whichever, but be sure to put โ€”test or โ€”testp or whatever after it and it tricks the prompt and works. Must be a glitch but works on version 4. If the aspect ratio variable is a the end of the prompt then you will get the warning that it doesnโ€™t work. Hope that helps. I noticed it worked on rerolling so I played around with it and as long as itโ€™s not the last entry on the prompt itโ€™s fine. (Note: this doesnโ€™t include the auto added โ€”v 4 variable, you have to manually add a different one after aspect ratio so it sucks if you donโ€™t want use any other variables except aspect ratio for now.

So example /imagine prompt: blah blah blah โ€”ar 9:16 โ€”testp

As long as something is manually placed after the aspect ratio itโ€™ll work. Donโ€™t rely on โ€˜โ€”v 4โ€™ being added automatically, it wonโ€™t work. A glitch no doubt.

  4. Great inspirations to try, doing them now ! yes please..do more. Also could you do a video on converting the line drawings to vectors as mentioned? Thanks so much.

  5. Thanks for the video. Do you know when v4 will enable the upgrade quality? It's incredible… but 1024 is a little bit low for my needs… Thank you very much

  6. This is really amazing! thank you so much for sharing.
Midjourney is as powerful as its prompts… so teaching us prompt craft with examples is best….please keep them coming in buddy! Also, i do follow your instagram account…

  7. hi man, i've had a problem trying to feed my prompt with a portrait of my wife + adding "wearing a medieval armor" or something like that. ALWAYS got blocked by a message saying that it detected SNFW content, is there any way to go past that?

  8. Video suggestion: You notice portraits usually have no expression, I call it a dead look, or Flat Affect. I wanted to prompt just the smallest of smile. Smile or joy is to extreme. I found on google a word list of 240 facial expressions. Unfortunately, most are negative adjectives like frown, sad etc. Can you come up with words that can be added to a portrait that would adjust that blank look? Tip, I found the word CANDID worked for some of my older images. Just a little twinkle in the eye and a slight part of the lips. But it did not work on my other "portraits". Clearly V4 understands these expressions. Controlling expressions would be a great video topic. Thanks.l

  9. I also like using "style of sports team logo" as prompt. Try that with head of a tiger or any other animal. You get really cool stuff that can easily be vectorized. Doesn't have to be animals. Try head of a samurai, viking, whatever. Great and fun results.

  10. the colouring book prompt isnt good at all, it keeps giving me a page thats already coloured in or a page on a desk with pens and pencils next to it. if you got that page first try then you were very lucky as ive generated close to 50 images and not one has been a straight front on colouring page.

  11. This video is very versatile.
    Its my one of favorites.

I think could been useful for
    Graphic Designers now
    how to use this tool
    to make for example cliparts.

    Thank you so much!

  12. Oh wow the 'phantasmal iridescent lion' looks really lush and the plastic futuristic building and the 'paper quilling' is super interesting not seen that before… V4 is definitely next level Midjourney /…please do show us some more styles to try out that would be great ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ–ผ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒŸ

  13. Haha! This 11 minute video turned into an hour long video because I had to brainstorm all my ideas while I paused each and every tip you gave. Wonderful video!

  15. One problem is that vector software isn't all that good at auto-tracing MidJourney pictures. The main image is decent, but any background is dodgy. In your coloring book monkey, the program (I've used Vectornator and Inkscape) has problems getting the background. I'm working on an answer.

  16. Nice video, it would be interesting other one with prompts for stable difussion as both technologies do not do same approach to images despite you use similar prompts

  17. The law for copyright on style has already been set.
    Dave Grossman v.s Bortin, 3478 F. Supp. 1150
Nobody can own a style. Period. So AI using style reference is perfectly legal.
The people trying to file lawsuits are going to find that out the hard way. Could you imagine? If style could be under copyright, every "artist" would be breaking the law. Because they all reference off other artists.
Talk about shooting themselves in the foot.

  18. can you imagine that AI discovers actually a "new" style on its own ? crypto is crazy but now we get AI on top, great times to live in. tx for doing all this hard work man. dankeschoen.

  19. As an artist who started before computers could do anything but math.. it's still..just a tool! I see so many posts of people worried it will end art. Art, has to be put in, for it to render. All it is, is a rendering tool. But a damned fast one, so it will put alot of artists out of work! One artist could do the work of many. Population grows, & computer assistance of every field, takes away jobs..not good in that respect. Now..not so skilled, or talented artists, can put out master like art. This will really clobber alot of things considered "art". All new computer assisted portraits, landscapes, sculpture etc.. worthless! Only real "art", will stand unique now. We'll see what rises to the top very soon! Computers have made life more difficult, not better.

  20. Good morning. I use by non milto Midjourney and am not very experienced. I use the v4 prompt for square images, and I'm looking for an equivalent command for 16: 9 images but I can't find it: does it exist? Thank you very much for any reply. ๐Ÿ™

  21. This is probably a basic question, as Iโ€™m new to ai programs. If I am want the source material to solely be images created by me and merge those without the ai program referencing anyone elseโ€™s images, to create a new merge image, is that possible? If so which ai program(s) is best for that? Thanks

  22. Have you tried the art term juxtaposition? I've had it as a word in the prompt list. I'm not sure it's being interpreted. Also not sure if Midjourney interprets diorama?
