  1. I mean I thought being a programmer will be a safe ground for a long future as far as having a job, but seeing these AI tools being develop so realistic, its a matter of couple of years when we see the whole product and apps generated from a couple of sentences or description. Now this tool is going to make all of the artists obsolete within couple of years. Technology already is very manipulated as far as apps like insta, tiktok etc. Imagine if AI gets involved producing videos, audio, images, code so realistic, none of us will be able to tell apart. With these tools its really not much good comes out but plenty of bad

  2. its shocking what Dale2 is doing, i find watermarks all over many of my a.i generated images…. they trained on stock sites and images on google. its not quite fair to put shutterstock out of business after training on their image data set. some idiot will make the argument that "we also learn from other people art"… yes we are human, we cant clone 5 billion amazon copies of ourselves and take over the art industry by training on art that humans made.

  3. I would say that it would be a terrible replacement, but a great brainstorming tool and concept designer.
AI can be used to assist the designing and animation process, as you said. However, advancing it all the
way into replacing raw, passion fueled talent just seems immoral for the animators and artists, it also seems
like a lot more effort then it's worth. I just hope that we don't go too overboard with this new tech stuff.

  4. Put in the single word, "Asia," and that is all you will get is porn!!! Also, look up, "nurses," and they will all be female, ect. So, there are some issues with bias in the A.I. however as mentioned ALL the images are from the internet…

  5. Call me crazy. Okay now that is over. If you look at the missing letters on the signs, they can be spelled out, and the result is scary as if the A.I. is warning the person not to make the art??? eg. "Beware of dog," can be seen as, "Be Ware Be,Be, Wae[r]!!! (Of this dog)!!! Like in the old book. O, A B, C D B?🐝 M N O B! O S U R, A B!!! So, is that sign a warning to the maker?

  6. As a writer, this tool is simply amazing to represent anything from my novels. The only let down is about the weapons… swords, knives, they all come out half-assed. 🙁

  7. Late comment, but I think DALL-E is one of the greatest art tools any artist could have in their arsenal. I'm using it right now with photos I took years ago to create work of art.
I don't think it's scary that AI exists to create art. I think it's a very handy tool that any artist can use to create something incredible.

  8. Dall-e-2 and midjourney businessmen complicated the hell out of what should be a simple process – join discord, wait for an invite, cross your fingers and whistle…
AI is great – people are idiots.

  9. I've been using Midjourney and it's so much fun -but i had to stop as I felt it was taking the joy out of painting for me. Also, yeah, the closer you look, the more the reality starts to slip…

  10. Since all of us have a "clone:, someone that looks a lot like him but is not related to, I guess there are some people who look at thispersondoesnotexist and say "bullsh*t, that's me and I exist you idiot!"

  11. Heyyy your videos are really informative and thanks you for the amazing content you produce. I was wondering if you could review an AI project. Its called Alethea AI. They make nfts alive using AI. Those NFTs become intelligent and they become capable of talking back, have discussions and do tons of cool stuff like generating art etc. Would love your opinion about this project. Thanks

  12. It will be like the pocket calculator, but for art. For a while teachers will forbid it, arguing that it's important to know how to do divisions manually, then eventually it will become the new normal, and then first thing you know, no one will does divisions by hand and it's ok.

  13. dude, pls make a video about that AI dreams with dog faces that came up a few years and what from that turned up to be these Dalee like technologies 🙂 I don't know if there's a conection, but to me, if you say to someone back in 2015 that an AI made an image, probably this person would imagine something like that Foster The People videoclip, Doing it for the money

  14. I got to play with something very similar to this on discord and it blows my mind how incredibly accurate it was. My favorite was a picture of a fluffy dinosaur puppy that’s yelling

  15. if I watch kitchen videos and somehow I noticed a flower pot in some videos so is that flower pot noticed suddenly and accordingly I have seen some other videos where I noticed flower pots. is that AI or just a coincidence because I never type anywhere flower pot kitchen video? . Please reply🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  16. I feel like he’s just guessing a lot of this but stating it with too much confidence so it seems like he actually knows. The bear not having a knife or scalpel doesn't have to be because knives are banned. If I asked for a knife cutting a tomato would it show scissors? He could be right but that seems like an odd limitation. The cyclopses were mostly terrible, only 2 seemed to have only 1 eye which is the definition of a cyclops.
He was being generous when he said his graphic designer could create something better if given enough time. How long is enough time? In the other video that only choose 1 of Dall-Es results to compare with the human output and whilst he took quite a long time to work on the images and even gave up on one, he didn't do better for every prompt. Given enough time he would eventually settle on his finished image whether it took him a day or a week and it still may not be as good as the images from Dall-E (his job is safe for now though).
I don't really get whether Dall-E really does create completely new images or if you could potentially identify some components and compositions that are clearly copied from other sources. That's something I would have been more interested in hearing about from the creators of these AI programs.

  17. After this came out, am only using photoshop to tweak “my” images. God this generates images from text, saved me so much time , now I don’t need to create so much layers and layers in photoshop shop .

  18. This was Anothere consept that A.I could trully find a more complex but near acurate solution that when aplied as decision would be more suficient than most of human could do for now. It only takes more efforts & funds to achieve there near perfect form.

  19. But when your one on one w/ A.I we should also let them understand the negative we see on them. Same as how we aknowledge a person with a food on its face.

  20. AI is getting better and better every year, in the future, machines will start competing with humans and win most of it!!!! The future looks promising and more nightmarish!!!! Welcome to the future folks, your universe is controlled by machines using AI!!!!

  21. I’ve play around the ai generated painting machine before, as an artist I’m impressed, at the same time, it give me a lot of ideas for references. But the “thispersondoesnotexist” that you show in video, now that is damn scary. Imagine more people create their social profile to fake the existence in digital world… 😢

  22. – Excerpt comment of mine from a text about this topic. –
I kind of see it like this. As an "artist" I review and revise my work. I leave it and come back to it later and make decisions about what changes need to be made so that I will be satisfied with the end product. As I produce, I improve. For the AI, all of that work has been done for it. It doesn't need to make those decisions. It already has access from the best works of art from the best artists to draw from, however if you were to cut it off from the data (internet, etc.) it would no longer improve. It would stay where it's at because it doesn't understand what it's producing and if it looks good. An artist who is cut off from other artists can still improve their own art because they make their own decisions about what looks good as art and what the context of it is. To the AI, it's all just data.
