  1. Not t all. An artist will always get better results with AI, than anyone else. And the AI art will always be based on the experience of the artists.
What will change (maybe dramatically) will be the market.

  2. Why would you buy from people with 0 reviews?? That’s an immediate no when buying ANYTHING online. That money could’ve gone to people who actually need it.

  3. can't even tell if some of those original art are generated by AI…
but i think that we can get alot of AI art as inspiration and recreate those arts as your own

  4. Honestly I would dissagree that a "Hard working artist" doesn't have to be afraid not because they can't do better than AI, because I think they can.
However, imagine a seriously good artist using AI and all other tools there are, they can do 10 times as much work as what an artist 10 years ago could do.
Therefore driving the price for art lower. And other artist have to match this.

  5. honestly real artist might end up making more money because AI replaces all the photoshop andies that just copy paste and do a lil digital magic for minimal effort which then frees up budget of art interested people to spend more on REAL artist

  6. Kinda frustrating u picked fiver accounts without trackrecord of actually delivering (stars/reviews from customers). Considering those can be faked also, i would rather take a chance on them instead of a very new looking scam account.

  7. The thing that should worry artists about this is that art creating AI is basically in the flip phone phase of development… it's brand new tech… just wait until it reaches the smart phone phase…

  8. Great video! I agree it's going to hurt the stock image industry. Man I wish Dall-e was around when I was in college a few years ago doing presentations. I spent a crazy amount of time trying to find just the right royalty-free stock photo for the point I was trying to make in a presentation.

I also think it's going to gobbled up a lot of the low-hanging fruit commissions for freelance artists. This is definitely going to put the hurt on amateur and intermediate artists trying to make a living in their craft while improving their skills.

The the rip-offs the Fiverr "artists" were committing were horribly hilarious. The question is what's to stop these dubious entrepreneurs from using Dall-e for commissions they are given? I can't help but think this is already happening. Now that Dall-e is available to everyone I would be hesitant to give a stranger $200 to create an art piece for me. How do I verify the work they do originates mostly from themselves and not an AI? Is there code in Dall-e images that is impossible to remove? What about screenshots of Dall-e images? Maybe some form of steganography? I suppose the best practical solution is to demand WIP images.

  9. Damn I didn't realize the crap I made in photoshop during my first semester of digital media in high school was better than what he just paid $211 for (10:09). I've been missing out on so much potential income by not being a fraud digital artist lmao

  10. I really hope you helped uncover those scam people, and got your money back. If that happened to me I would be ruined, that is not a pocked money for me.

  11. Don't forget that the capital of AI creation comes from the precious efforts of countless human illustrators. Do you want it to completely replace human painters? It is unrealistic to shout to give up the translator after the development of AI translation. However, like the translator, AI painting will definitely compress the market of middle and low-end painters, but in the end it is just a soulless and cold Tools, really good artists will not be replaced

  12. I know you won't read this but I genuinely hope you reported the "Artist's" to Fiverr instead of letting them take your money. It won't solve the Issue, my experience with Fiverr is %90 of the site is just a scam but they will take action against scam artists by in the very least deleting their profiles with sufficient proof which you clearly had

  13. 6:22
Now this. This is something I won’t see AI being able to do, at least not immediately.
AI may be able to make (quote on quote) ”original” art, but pretty much all of them are referenced/replicated by a bunch of existing art.
Something like this suggestion would require a specific style that an AI would naturally struggle due to being uniquely specific.

Either way, the AI would still be able to make a quick incorrect but still fitting version that can be edited by a human.

  14. Dude…. Why Dall-e? C'mon, just use Midjourney man, it's SO MUCH BETTER. Using Dall-e is a handicap.
Stable Diffusion would also be a better choice…

Also, $100-$200 for an original piece is nothing. You need to up your commission rate if you want a quality artist.

  15. Not going to lie, I've been on fiverr seeing about making a gig for myself.
and the amount of people selling traced, free filters, stock pictures, and with obviously fake pictures in their examples is INSANE!

it was also pretty obvious when Jazza gave one of these accounts money, and honestly Jazza should have known looking at the work.

  16. I'd say there's a difference between an actual artist and some guy who writes prompts into an algorithm that does the stealing for them instead of having to do it manually. The AI is likely to use the exact same stock image of an astronaut, and if ya publish that book with that cover, you're just as forked.

But still… the number of scummy "artists" on Fiverr is pretty depressing too… and it's not for small sums either…

Though what will happen now is those scammers will just use AI art instead, you end up paying for someone who can't even be bothered to photoshop some crappy image, they just type something to the AI then charge you $200 as if they created the art.

  17. Mystic Vase – 4bu
    Artifact
Whenever an artifact leaves the battlefield, draw a card and put a ruin counter on Mystic Vase.
[tap] [3][b][u] : sacrifice Mystic Vase, you gain an emblem with "all creatures have decay and are artifact creatures."

  18. “What artists should be worried about is the thieves of humans!” Well yeah, we have been ranting about that for years on end, but AI hardly seems different. A scammer will badly throw together images that don’t belong to them and pass it off as their own while AI… does that too.

  19. I use Fiverr for my original graphic musical as well as for my insurance business comic advertisements.

I love one of my artists, the other one is… difficult to communicate with. His results are good, but it takes a fair amount of back and forth.

  20. This is the first time I've ever heard of Dall-e. After 2 minutes in I had to go check it out. I've been away from this video for the last 3 hours using it and omg I love it, it's going to take a lot for me not to spend all my money on this from here on out. It's so fun to do. It's kind of like gambling because sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and you never know what you're going to get. I'll bet I'll get addicted too oh no lol It's fun and there was about 4 things out of 50 that I honestly really like from doing it. Thanks for introducing me to this reality. It's going to be a fun tool. I just hope I can control myself on spending money on it lol anyways now I'll watch the rest of this video haha. I'm probably going to be binging vids like this on it to avoid blowing more money on it lol. I want to get good and know how to use it best to get better results.

  21. We're already at the point of "presses a few buttons, whee I'm an artist!!!!11!!!!".

How much longer though until "presses a few buttons, whee I'm a professional artist!!!!11!!!!"?

  22. Yeah so my understanding of how AI is generating these images is pulling art and photos that may or may not be copyrighted and basically throwing them in a blender. So given how ludicrously low you’re paying Fiverr artists, you get what you get. Frankly what you’ve proven is apples to apples. I’m a professional artist but what you’re paying wouldn’t make me even crack open my sketchbook.

  23. Dall E is not worth using due to censorship. No matter how advanced it gets, if you can't generate what you want, its useless.
Simple as that. Better learn how to use Stable Diffusion instead.

  24. The fact that you get Fiverr credit with a refund instead of actual money is a scam in an itself.
So the company itself is already scamming you from the get go, before the artist scammers get into the picture.
Also prepare for people to just use AI to generate your commissions.

  25. I'm a serious artist and I left fiverr… It became impossible to handle, the clients were increansly worse demanding impossible timelines for who is in fact drawing and painting, and requesting "special prices" because their requests were easy or simple (as if it was up to them to define it) when I had already modified my prices to a low rate in order to be competitive. It was too much.

  26. Fiverr unfortunately has a bad rep of scammers. You gotta go to art centered places like art station and look up the artist to double check.

But you should also know ai is stealing artists art to train off without consent so. It’s still unethical.

  27. basically all the fiver profiles you chose that ripped you off had 0 reviews on their profiles . Doesn't take a genius to work out that you should have used artists with previous good reviews for all of them.

  28. that last unicorn artwork- the clouds in the background looks like an AI generated image, and the unicorn and rainbow in the front don't really match it, im just saying that it could also be unoriginal too. Which would suck

  29. I'm a web designer, and although this is all ULTRA impressive, it doesn't really work in practice. It's all fun and games till someone asks you to move the unicorn a little to the left.
I still haven't found a project where they just accept the first random design.
It's probably good for getting a bunch of initial ideas, then work off of that, that would be a realistic use case.
I'm guessing in 5-10 years this could become a real threat.

  30. It makes me extremely sad and angry that the people who charge less give amazing works of art…but the people who charge more half ass it and probably aren’t true artists, they are scammers…. Wtf people!!!! If one of those “artists” sees this video I hope they read the comments and know they should jump off a bridge, the world would be a better place.

  31. As a computer scientist and artist, AI can't 'replace' artists.
But those shitty artists who are always scams deserve to be replaced.
As long as there are clear laws and systems that can protect artists, this will elevate arts to the next level.

  32. I've never been sold on Jazza's personality before. Never particularly disliked him, just flet like he's been appealing to as broad an audience as possible. But I just can't help but find him endearing after this one.

  33. As somebody who gets paid for art as well, I feel that most of "us" are worried that we charge too much for our art, where we see all the mistakes and imperfections the most, that the customers don't even recognize and therefore we don't dare to charge as much. On the other hand, scammers are so greedy, that they don't feel bad for literally scamming, so why would they bother to charge outragous amounts of money?

  34. Pretty sure the artist at 3:47 beat you to the punch and made that with AI for you lol. Fiverr as company should start vetting their artists. If you have a site like that where the company doesnt look into the people on there, you are bound to get a plethora of scammers. It sucks. But then again, fiverr was initially started as a site to get cheap gigs for $5. So I guess you can also say professional artists just aren't meant to be there. I've never signed up to offer my services on fiverr simply due to the bad name they have and what happens on that site.

  35. A large part of making ai art is picking the right model, using something like stable diffusion will lead to completely different results than dall-e

  36. I imagine that it won't be too long before people start using AI to generate art for Fiverr. I would be surprised if someone hasn't already, actually. If for a low price, one doesn't have enough time to make an amazing piece, AI could make much much better results than that stock image nonsense.

Though, the best way to get amazing results isn't just to give AI the prompt and go with it, but IMO is to combine it with one's own artistic skill to make something better in a shorter period of time than either could make. E.g, making a quick sketch (but with decent proportions and lighting) or basic render and turning it into something amazing and photorealistic with. That could allow artists to make lots of artwork extremely efficiently for a much lower price, and, if my theory is correct, maybe allow human artists to make up for when AI does not have a good sense of what words related to location and composition mean.
