  1. I have been creating a series in MJ that i pretend to launch in kickstarter as a product and have been building a catalogue that i pretend to sell as art. I have 17 days using the service. If i sell something ill see if paying for the service is worth it. I think it is but no money made yet from it.

  2. Midjourney is FANTASTIC for things that don't actually exist. It is ABSOLUTELY LOUSY at rendering things that do exist. Tell it to render a toucan or an elephant and it gives you something that has absolutely no resemblance to the animal in question. And it is terrible at rendering pictures of people. Most of the time, it gets the right number of heads (though not always). But it rarely puts in the right number of arms and legs. And the arms and legs it does include are often horribly deformed. Plus, they often are attached to the wrong part of the body. Midjourney is a fun novelty, but actual artists have nothing to worry about. And people who are afraid that AI will take over the world should be comforted by the fact that after analyzing over 40 million pictures, Midjourny still turns out garbage that no kindergarten student would draw.

  3. this video was dope man. Just subscribed. some people hate on ai art, but i just used it to make some awesome cover art and even made a 3D music video. I think ai art is great for musicians who want to have more creative contr

  4. I’m getting limewire flashbacks. It was a fun peer to peer- open sourced platform; then monetized, and later shut down for copyright lawsuits from the industry.

  5. 2:50 Since you (and not I) have a significant audience I am very glad you pointed this out. It's important for everyone using AI (no matter which "app") to resist companies trying to profit off your works. They are being paid for the use of their "software" upfront. It's like Nikon saying they want a cut of every image you create with their cameras. Or a scissor manufacturer saying they want a cut (pun intended) from each hair stylist every time they cut hair. You can see they're testing the greed waters. I think any developer would have a hard time winning that case in court.

Regarding "test" "testP". I very rarely use "testP" because Remaster does that after the fact. This way I have a more "abstract" image to start but have the option in Re-master for a more literal interpretation. Relaxed mode is indeed a bit faster. I hardly use Fast at all because I create prompts when I'm editing images and/or video for my studio. While I've had luck with portraits, full length faces are still an issue.

Regarding selling: I don't think I would ever try to sell an image purely created by AI as it just doesn't feel right. It's like a restaurant opening a jar of Ragu and calling it their own. Everything I put out into the world using MJ as a base has some work done by myself to make it uniquely mine. I take my existing photographic works ( I have hundreds of thousands of images over 30 years of professional photography) and "breathe new life' into them. That being said, I was just contacted by a (major) paper manufacturer about using one of my creations. I won't be paid (nor was I expecting to be) but I will gain more exposure and it's a positive step forward for the AI community.

  6. Yeah I moved over to Stable Diffusion because everyone who is using MidJourney has the exact same quality style no matter what prompt they use. You can just tell it's a MJ artwork. And nobody buys that.
With SD we can make our own training models.

  7. That flower prompt is absolutely beautiful. I have been playing with it myself, and it gives some absolutely stunning fantasy flower results. I use it to relax and render "pretties" as a break from my regular MJ styles. Thank you for your videos and keep up the good work, I appreciate you!

  8. Hello Vladimir,

My free trial has ended, and I'm unable to sign up for the paid plan since I don't have a credit card and Stripe isn't currently accessible in Kenya. I only have PayPal, Please advise on how to resolve this.

  9. So what about part 12-th Midjourney Terms of Service? They referring to Creative ML OpenRAIL-M license which is not quite "you own all rights" and not allowing me to sell the pictures via microstock agencies (which are already started to prohibit neural generated images btw).

  10. Confused as to why the first point in the video is pricing when that hasn't been changed or adjusted at all same with the rules there's only been text added for clarity nothing actually changed 🤨

  11. I see that Mid journey stores all generated images in a public online folder, they are never deleted, even if you delete all from discord and the public directory…. so they keep a copy of all, and the terms and conditions says that Mid journey can sublicense all the pictures…

So maybe one day they could open a store and sell them all, using the prompt to make descriptions and keywords.

I don't think that this is fair for paying users, just like if Adobe could sell your PSD files made with their photoshop.

  12. I think that NFT is a waste of time if you have not a brand behind, there is a lot of stuff online and we are in the deep of a bear market.

I think that you should try to sell your creations to a company that can really use its brand to sell those by NFT and promote them.

  13. Wow! AI art is So cool! Everything you make is so unique and special! And someone else can make the exact same thing And also own the exact same thing. Smdh. Also I fell out of my chair when it said it’s stealing because your not paying midjourney. Meanwhile the entire Latin 5b dataset it was all built on was ripped off the internet. So awesome!

  14. The license is funny, it says you own the rights but then takes away as many rights as it can. I cancelled my subscription last week. Stable Diffusion ran locally has much better interfaces – I got tired of the discord bot way of interacting with MJ. More prompt craft is required to get good results from SD but i'm sure that will get better.

  15. Amazing tutorial! Thank you much! Im struggling with creating consecutive images from the same character, I need the same character to be in different situations(images). Whats the best way to do it? Thank you for your time

  16. Hi. I have learned a lot from your videos and use the info to jolt my imagination. Still blows my mind what this AI is doing and it’s so awesome for typing in a story idea and seeing what it comes up with. Thank you. Do you have a discord channel by chance?

  17. Thanks for the alley prompt I've been trying to work on that since I found midjourney for months. lol You got some good stuff in there I didnt think of! I wonder if everyone using it is thinking of that scene for some reason. roflol

  18. Right now the NFT market is very slow, and its kinda in a bear market, but its a good idea to build a portfolio of NFTs for when the market returns..Dont expect any sales in the next few months, but when the hype returns, it will be beneficial to have a lot of things to sell
