- Procedure in Affinity Photo:
- Photo & Digital Art Combination:
- Combining an actual photo with digital art makes the entire image appear detailed due to our focus on facial details.
- Classic painters use a similar technique: painting detailed faces and hands, but less detail elsewhere.
- Face Replacement:
- Rasterize the image layer.
- Make a rough selection over the face.
- Copy the face to a new layer and delete the original layer.
- Adjusting & Blending the Face:
- Reduce the layer’s opacity to see both images.
- Align the features (nose, lips, eyebrows).
- Use a mask to blend the two faces.
- Adjust brush size using Ctrl + Alt and dragging the mouse.
- Color and Brightness Adjustments:
- Apply vibrance and saturation adjustments.
- Create a curves adjustment to adjust brightness.
- Adjust color balance to make both faces mix better.

Yes, I did the same stuff and I realise that there's a gap of texture between the AI picture and the real photo, a pro will see that straight away, may be with the beta version of midjourney we will have much better quality ai picture?

Money is not a limitation now. And it is very beggining of AI implementation to the art world. Now with a bit of patience and great prompts you can create outfits, details and accesorries you would spend a fortune to buy for your photoshoot. Cool example of using Midjourney though.
