  1. I can't afford the subscription fee, unfortunately, but watching you pumping out designs and variations and upscales at that quick pace feels pretty exciting even second hand. Fun to watch! Will hope to watch more of your Midjourney streams.

  2. Hmm whole process of perfecting scene must be fascinating for Dev team, cuz later they can learn a.i. desire director what perfecting mean for humans, and do some generation script

  3. I'm looking for a good free AI face enhancer, the one from Tencent just doesn't work anymore it seems, I always get an error when I try to upload no matter what.

  4. PLEASE HELP, i saw someone doing a prompt like this: IMAGINE A BLACK MAN WITH THE LYRICS FROM someone TATTOOED ON ITS UPPER BODY – and the results were amazing!!! But i am trying even with paid membership and GET NOTHING CLOSE!!!

CAN YOU Please try EMBEDDING some lyrics into a piece of wood or anything, FOR A TEST? How would you type the title and author of the song, so the AI will recognize it well?

  5. I’ve noticed you can use links to images to include in the renders, these days I just don’t know where to upload images that will give you the image extension at the end of the link (without setting up a website that is). Any suggestions?

  6. I tried midjourney on yesterday, its amazing and funny , but the forum was totally "busy" , many post is running and put up my thread out of my eyes , I don't know how to find my thread back such search it in ocean.

  7. Midjourney is self-learning. So actually, everything will be better by the end of 2022. This will demolish certain professions in the art field. Concept artists, freelance illustrators, digital artists. To me it's tragic step for humanity,. Ai was supposed to do the boring jobs, so we can focus on the creative ones. Not like this

  8. I don't get it. Why do we have to be careful about faces not being true? Why will that have issues down the line?
Is it because it might look like someone in real life? Because that is true of any face drawn by hand, or created in 3D applications. AI won't be special in that regard. Unless of course, people want to make it a problem just for AI and ignore everything else that generates faces. Like our own creative brain.
Or am I missing something else and it flew over my head?

  9. Some things that's annoyed me with Midjourney is that it loooves to add beards or an unshaven look on the guys. Which isn't cool when you're trying to create elves. XD It often effs up the eyes (and hands, but I am focusing on faces now), it doesn't like to make longer hair than shoulder-length on guys, and it also seems to love putting wings on the heads of people rather than on their backs. XD Specifying clean-shaven, or no beard, seems to have no effect. If I write "wings on the back" it simply turns the character's back to you, rather than actually placing the wings there. lol. It's frustrating sometimes.

  10. Thank you for the really useful video.

I'm trying to generate illustrations for the short novel I wrote and the text prompt was the following:

"A young miner boy and a curly bearded man in glasses are standing in front of the very packed, colorful window of a shop, night scene, ultra-realistic lighting, very detailed, 8K, octane engine, God rays, natural lights –w 1920 –h 1080"

The problem I have is that Midjourney is making the man a miner and not the young boy. For example, it puts a mining helmet on the man instead of the boy.

Do you guys have experience with setting attributes/adjectives for multiple character subjects within the same image? Thanks in advance

  11. Any woman I create in Midjourney turns to Olga Kurylenko by default:) It's funny and disturbing. I should write 'blond woman' to have something alternative

  12. So what death metal blue grass do you listen to? I have been experimenting with layering banjo to my symphonic cinematic electronic death and black metal songwriting. I am familiar with Panopticon, an atmospheric black metal that sometimes switches between blue grass and black metal and sometimes merging them. The thrash jazz of John Zorn, Painkiller and Naked City are also of an influence. How about Black Grass?!?

  13. Awesome video. This was very informative, for me. I'm an artist at heart, but can't do anything once i put pencil to paper. I really love the idea of putting my ideas into this and seeing what comes out. I do this for fun and to escape the real world from time to time, so I have fun with it. I really appreciate this video and just became a subscriber because of it. I also dabble a bit on affinity designer. I found this video helpful and entertaining, I hope there are more on the way.

  14. I've managed to craft a wide variety of photorealistic images so far, I can't see there being any issue so long as any use of the image acknowledges the fact of it's artificial nature.
On the issue of extra faces, using a soft prompt of "full body" and / or a 6:8 ratio can drastically reduce this problem

  15. I messed around with journey last night. I found it be good but it’s a real buggy with its commands in order to produce something real good you got to super flawless with what your saying and type your commands perfectly and be very detailed with what your saying . I think that part needs a bit more work but other then that the program is amazing im going to sighn up for the full service next month but 30$ a bit pricey

  16. Let's be honest; I think this is literally a new job; some people will become so good at asking the IA for doing tasks that they will earn money for doing that. Also, some people will make money from teaching how to do this efficiently (this channel, for example).
Some people will probably lose their job due to AI, but others will find tremendous opportunities with this.
Remember these words because you (the reader) could be one who will find their new job, and this is the starting point.

  17. How is typing suggestive adjectives and nouns make a person an [artist]? With programs such as these, now anyone is an "artist". 🎨🎭 Its sad how society now depends 100% on tech. In the new world coming soon, we will enjoy working with our neighbors and hands. We will use technology, but it will not use us.

The world will soon end. Type that in your 'Midjourney' A.I. and see how well it paints Armageddon 🔥

  18. the upside is i dont want it to be "my artwork" i just like that its "my idea" come to light and that I own it. Its an artform in and of its own bc surprisingly there are many that just dont understand how the engine works

  19. I give you a question on the Chainner software, but I get no answer Scott. I download the new software from ChaiNNer version: 0.11.5. But after the action I can´t find the result. Can you please answer me?

  20. Why should i pay a human for AI ART?
Cheering on AI ART is like your boss telling you to be friends with and train your REPLACEMENT.
Once AI & BOTS hit the 65% job market WHO WILL BE ABLE TO BUY ART ON AN INCOME FROM Universal Basic Income?

  21. Is there a way to get an accurate depiction of a celebrity face? Like say I wanted to get a renaissance painting style of Tupac Shakur. Every time I input Tupac Shakur first (or after "Renaissance painting of Tupac Shakur") It doesn't look anything like him, at all. I've seen people input celebrities and the likeness is almost spot on but mine is always way off base and I'm not sure how to fix that.

  22. This has really helped me out thanks!
I’ve been using Stable Diffusion for the last week or so and getting some nice results. Been wanting to try this one out for a while now, so feels good to get started : )

  23. Photoshop AI art – cool! BUT – looking forward we are producing VIDEO, so montage, and motion for now. YES photoshop – but supporting story – think motion story boards, good enough to narrate a story (or act it.) It won't be long before this art becomes able to deal with cohesive set and character, and then simple scenes.

  24. Man, I got a good photo for face like Scarlett Johannson as done here in the video, but then I tried Audrie Hepburn, Kate Winslet, and then even tried Joan Chen and Gong Li….all the faces of these latter 4 actresses look exactly like the same person!!! Doesn't make any damn sense to me why those faces don't at least have some variation.

  25. The images by themselves are art. The AI is just a tool, just like a painbrush is a tool, and the resulting image is only as good as the skill used with the tool.

  26. "the computer is the artist" – I look at it like this – if a programmer writes lines of code that creates a program which produces an output, we all say "that's the programmer's program" "thats the programmers code". We dont say "the computer is the programmer". Same thing here. The AI is the tool, the human behind the keyboard is the creator.

  27. I'm going to paint my midjourney for real and I'll show you how to as well. From canvas to projector to the technique of pro illustrators and fine artists (which I am). No more getting disqualified from competitions.

  28. I like the idea of the contest, but when you say it needs modification after the creation — I would suggest that you consider if the art actually needs something different or modified. That it may be missing something or there is just some weird effect that needs fixing. I actually created an image on Midjourney that I adore. The only change I am making to it is resolution… I might change the size or the edge so I can mat it. but the actual image is perfect the way it is…at least in my eyes. I think the big thing about creating digital art is learning when to stop for the best result.

  29. What you should know first:
    1. its not free to use, after 25 generated pictures
    2. for payment there is only creditcards accepted yet
    3. before you buy, u should write down a huge list of prompts

  30. you mention something about ai image copyright- that the creator may not be able to copyright it fully but what if someone makes an ai image and then they enhance/manipulate the photo (either slightly or drastically) in photoshop/etc, would that mean the creator (person who made the ai and photoshopped/etc it) would own the copyright to the image then?

  31. I've been using this for 3 weeks now and was having a little bit of trouble with my 9:16 (tall) aspect ratio images containing lots of random things or parts of other people in the background. Youre advice about adding background/foreground/scene details to take up the space around my image instantly fixed this issue and made the center subject of the image much more clean. Thanks!

  32. This video misses the point.. The problems that Midjourney has with faces is that that if the face wasn't almost full-screen to start with, like the one in this example, then it looks like Elephant man. Try it – have Midjourney generate a crowd of people in a train station. Now look at their faces. Do they look like human faces? Not even close! The face used in your example was TOO EASY. Where Midjourney really falls flat on its 'face' is with GROUPS of people, THAT's the problem Midjourney has with faces, not this low-hanging fruit. BTW, Stable Diffusion does a much better job with faces in groups than MidJourney.

  33. im trying for days creating nice things with my own face, giving it like a special design, but i can't its not working. tried uploading few images, and play with the –iw..but nada. what is the problem?

  34. QUESTION: hi, how did you go on midjourey and have no others posting as you are posting? You are the only one. I have trouble finding my photos between all the others posting at the same time.

  35. as the law stands now who or what ever creates the art owns it… This was decided in the supreme court… A photographer left a camera with a monkey named Naruto in 2011. One of the selfies the monkey took went viral and people were posting it without credit.

So Slater (the photogrpaher) sued and lost becuase the court ruled he did not own it becuase he did not take the photo. The monkey took the photo..

Then it gets real ugly becuase PETA being the primates they are deicided they would represent the monkey and hold the copyrights in estate.. Well they lost because as you would guess, a monkey does not have constitutional rights.

No one has rights to the photo. I suspect the same will be with AI… I would suspect that if midjourney is giving up its rights then the decision will come down to a court saying that typing a few words then hitting the enter button is the same as looking through the view finder and hitting the shutter button.
