  1. Awesome channel! Thanks for all the tips and tricks. I was wondering is there a way to follow your Midjourney profile? I pasted Eposvox on the search bar but it didn’t work.

  2. I'm enjoying your videos on this subject so far – picking up a few points you thought if that I didn't, and thank you for 'em… But I've got to say… Don't you think it's a bit early for anyone – even David Holz! – to be saying "Master Class" about Midjourney? 🙂

I get it, that "Midjourney What Little We Know So Far, Man This Stuff Is Moving Fast! Class" doesn't really roll off the tongue. 😉

  3. The further it developes the more do I believe that people are to naive about it's potential and effects on society. Right now, Ai is treated by many more like a "toy" or just another "tool" to use that gives you very quick and cool results. But when you look actually at what it does and the discussions happening right now in the creative industry? This will put a hell of a lot of people out of work. Low level entry jobs will become non existant. Business will drastically lower their creative teams. Making an income as a creative person was already very difficult before. But now? I fear it will be impossible for most. And some might argue that Ai opens up the possibility for "non-artists" to be creative as well but what it will lead to is oversaturation. Once everyone can create a work of art on the level of the most skilled artists out there with a few seconds maybe minutes at most? Then it's meaningless. If everythings a masterpiece nothing is a masterpiece, so to speak. It's like watching a game where no one can lose. There is a reason peoople don't really find it very interesting to watch two chess computers playing against each other. And with Ai there will at some point be the issue that you will see less and less art created by humans which means the Ai will take art created by "Ais" to learn and process. The effects of that are not even really clear yet beacuse Ai has a very different learning-process compared to humans, Ai does not place any value on what it learns, has no experience it doesn't give meaning to anything it looks at because Ai has no concept of it, it only mimics ideas and concepts the forms and aesthetics that humans put value into. This has advantages. But also very serious disadvantages. To an Ai a dragon has as much or little value like a stool or a person.

I feel people are way to excited right now to think about the real impact here that Ai will have on society as a whole. And it's developing fast. Incredibly fast. Right now, it's the creative business. Because this is the easiest one to push Ai in, a low risk, high reward situation. But you have other areas where you have a lot more research and investements being thrown in. From military applications to health, business, pretty much any blue collar job, even high paying ones(!) will be effected. Some experts believe that every second job can be one way or another affected by the automation trough Ai. And there is a potential to remove 30 or even up to 40% of the current work force. And it is very unlikely that we will see a high number of new jobs here to replace it. The target of Ai is to make things more cost effective, efficient and productive.

To Ai humans will be what cars have been to horses. They didn't give horses new "cushy" jobs. They pretty much replaced them entirely. In the 1900 horses have been the main means of transportation in cities and rural areas. But today? They are pretty much gone. Because they are obsolete. And this will be true for a large number of jobs out there as well. And they will not be replaced equally by new profissions. There simply won't be enough of it to go around. And with the way our society and economy works right now? It will hit the job market like a nuclear bomb. And we're not ready for this. If you are very excited about Art Ai right now? Think about your own job. And what an Ai specifically designed for your profession with the same level of evolution.

  4. I'm no super-user, but I'm pretty sure the long neck and a few of those other commands were followed by ::-1 meaning all of the things listed in that section are not wanted by a factor of -1. So maybe cranking that up to like ::-10 would make it less likely for the long neck. Removing long neck from that ::-1 section as you did in the video would actually make it more likely for a long neck to appear in the next generation. Apologies if I'm not totally clear here, I'm not great at expressing myself in writing. I'm a visual person.

  5. Excellent video tutorial. Best one I've seen so far. You have successfully consolidated all the information for beginners and I hope the second half of the video delves into explanations of prompt details. I've had some interesting results from the word miniature and microscopic

Edit: can't wait to watch the next videos.

  6. It's impressive stuff, but I'm getting super annoyed at not being able to create a portrait of a person that looks even remotely realistic. I see people doing them, but when I try and copy what they've done to my own prompts, I only ever seem to be stuck on one specific style for everything. It's very frustrating.

  7. In the first 10 minutes I found the following:
/. This is the best intro to MJ video I've seen so far on YT
/. Your style of delivery and cadence are fantastic
/. your office park/building analogy was on point.

Subbed, Liked, cant wait to watch the rest of your videos, cheers mate.

  8. This AI is basically stealing artists hard work/ideas. It takes from various art that is online and bashes it together. ArtStation etc. should protect work that is uploaded by their users.

  9. AI is not a threat to artists. It is a tool that can be beneficial to the entire art community as a collective in order to improve each other "ideas". Ten thousand years from now, our contributions will still remain.

  10. I found out that if you DM the Midjourney Bot you can have just your work being created there and if you create and upscale and get other versions generated there you have no trouble in keeping up with your images. Do this in /relax mode until you get very close to the image you want then switch to /fast so you have all tools available to fine tune the image.

  11. I jumped as fast as I can in it as I'm developing a beat'm up game inspired by Grappler Baki, but I can't for da luv of god create a prompt where a dude is kicking another dude in the leg, face, or anywhere, it always shows ppl with 3 legs or a kick being thrown in the air with no one really being hit 😭.
I think as of now the bot doesn't understand prompts describing simple attack actions like "kick in the nuts", "punch in the face" "stomp on the foot" etc, performed between 2 models am I right?
Please, notify me if I'm doing something wrong or if not, when the AI understand those things 😢

  12. Started my Midjourney journey yesterday, already used up the basic plan and now I’m on the standard plan. Anyways, I’m subscribed to your channel, and I’m super excited to have found you! Planning to binge this course, soak up all your knowledge and m aybe at the end I’ll share some of my renders with you! Only if you are interested haha

  13. When signing up for the 30 dollar unlimited plan, when you go to pay it says 30.00 billed monthly, PLUS .01 per unit billed monthly. What unit? Is this per image, per final image, per roughs generated, some other unit like gpu processing used, etc? I dont see an explanation anywhere Ive looked, even on their billing page section.

  14. Thank you so much! With your help and guidance I finally made the leap to explore this beautiful world! Thank you so much for your time and effort in providing such great videos!

And you have such a great voice to listening to 🌈. Keep doing what you are doing because it's damm awwesome!!!!

  15. do i have limited credits even if i pay the 30$ for midjourney? i thought it says unlimited? sorry all this is so new to me. clarification would be greatly appreciated.

  16. Not gonna lie I did feel uncomfortable with this AI art thing but it's growing on me. It's like having a homie who you can run some ideas with and you can draw inspo from them. Definitely wanna run this again when I have artist block to see if I can use it to help reignite my creativity.

  17. Love your channel – one of the best at explaining MJ. I was wondering if, for those of use that can't afford the $30.00 monthly fee, could you do a video on maximizing the $10. monthly fee, beginning with what prompts under /settings you would tick off to help us. Thank sooooo much. Joseph :o)

  18. What a waste. This isn't art at all. Images are infinate and un-inspiring which makes them worth a lot less in any category. Your not creating anything. AI is learning about imagination from YOU. You people need to get out more.

  19. Not saying the tech and AI isn't amazing, but after making lots and lots of these, something about them all feels "boring" and "soulless." I end up feeling more from finger painting than a lot of these images

  20. As someone who never possessed much artistic talent but always had a head full of ideas for drawings, paintings, etc, this is the best thing to ever happen to me. I feel so lucky to be alive in this age

  21. I have been using MJ for a few months…every single time I enter in my wording, once I press to make the art, I end up with a blue and orange pic! can someone please tell me what to do…

  22. Have you ever tried creating animals. I typed"a lion roaming the African plains" I ended up with a pile on straw on the ground. So now I always avoid animals. Unless you can come up with a solution.

  23. It's kinda funny how taking someones prompt and using it for your own thing is considered stealing in the community, even though teh community constantly rips off real artists by using prompts like "in the style of" or "looking like"…

  24. DUDE!!! You just saved me so much brain-drain! You are straight to the point with so much other info. Getting ready for your next class. Thank you so much. I gotta pass your channel along to two of my friends who are on Mid-Journey. No, THREE!!! Thanks again!!

  25. The best thing about ai art is, that it doesn’t belong to anyone. So if you see a picture generated by an AI, you can use it for free, there is no regulation on this 😮
