It's rather predictable… It does seem to use limited images as a base – you can see that if your run repetitive queries of the same prompt.
i used it when it just came out and tbh, it used to be better
For the free model it's not the worst, but to be honest, it's pretty unusable

There seems to be a bit of confusion in the comments here. There are only 2 artstyles on the website (Realistic and Throwback) and a few more in the app that actually use the new diffusion model. All the other styles still have the abstract vibe due to a different generation model. Its not as clear on the website that only some styles use diffusion, but in app they're labelled

It's okay but I don't use it much anymore. They increased the quality of the images but it actually isn't as interesting now.
i think many people ignored it because it's "just a mobile app". I've been using Wombo (and subscribed) for quite a while and generated thousands of images with it. They keep releasing styles constantly (too frequently IMHO) it's getting cluttered with so many options. "No Style" is the worst/lowest quality option. "Realistic" style was unfortunately nerfed because devs were worried about getting banned from Apple app store for a huge quantity of nsfw images it produced originally. New "Unrealistic" style added yesterday is pretty great

These text-to-image generators need to allow for users(individual or team) to add their own subset of image data to the training dataset. With their own unique caption data the user could extend the possible image styles. This would allow for even more specific and nuanced image outputs. LOTS of individuals and cgi teams are sometimes going to want as much precision as possible.
Wombo is really trash. It can make pretty cool looking images. But mostly trash.
Nice feature is input image and with that you can occasionally get something out of this one.
It's too bad it's main devs are using NFT's with premium access limitations
I don't think I've ever gotten anything truly good out of dream.
I do like how quick it is and have had some satisfying results. But complicated scenes leave you wishing for more sometimes. It's really hit or miss.
Wombo isn’t really free, it’s freemium. You have to pay to access some of the styles or it shows you an ad after every other generation. It does seem to have massively changed over just the past couple of weeks, which is the last time I tried it. It’s capable of doing more realistic images, while in the past they were all very abstract (though aesthetic).
Nah..! I'm glad you removed the "UNDERRATED" from the title. That wording was misleading, maybe even clickbaity. Actually, this Text-to-Image-AI is one of the worst I have ever used. It was neither worth the view nor the time I put into experimentation. Although it's free.. ..this AI is just too trashy in every comparison.

Was my previous comment… with out watching the video… Ooooh. They have had some update in last month. It creates images now? Well Might be worth… it's price. That is some nice tests I got out of it. Others have hard time generating text. This slaps it around instead of drawing it 😀

Whatever you do, don’t prompt it for contortions or intertwined nails in realistic art style. It’s unsettling.
I like some of the results, but, at least on Android, the free app comes with restrictions. Namely, a number of art styles are only available for Premium users and the rate in which ads appear is pretty annoying. So in all fairness, I would call this a free app but with strings attached.
Wombo just sucks…. It's completely garbage…out of 100 prompts and easy concepts…only 3 good images came out
Wombo A) Doesn't work nearly as well as even something like craiyon, and B) Supports crypto. Hard no for me.
Do they use dalle-2? Do you know any available model to get text and image (the same as wombo) and generate an image based on that? any open source one? I tried some like glide and clip guided diffusion, but the open source ones are not good.
